Who we are
Located in the heart of Southwest Wisconsin’s breathtaking Driftless region you’ll find Hicklin Hollow Ranch, our small family farm just outside of Prairie Du Chien. At HHR we enjoy a laidback (but busy!) country lifestyle raising kids, cattle, ducks, donkeys and of course sheepadoodles. Our animals are part of our family and our puppies are raised right in the kitchen with the help of our 7 children.

It’s our commitment to you. We call it the 3 Hs and it’s what we strive to provide for everyone living here at Hicklin Hollow Ranch, people and animals alike!
HAPPY. Our puppies are spoiled! They are played with and socialized from birth until they leave with their new family. As they grow bigger we start basic training and provide stimulating activities to keep them engaged.
HEALTHY. Our dogs come from excellent bloodlines. Their parents were AKC registered and health/genetic tested. All of our puppies come with a Heath guarantee against genetic disorders. We feed high quality food and everyone gets plenty of fresh air and exercise. All puppies are vet checked and up to date on immunizations.
HOMEGROWN. Hicklin Hollow is not a kennel. Our dogs are our pets and our puppies are raised right in our home. They are never separated from their mom, even After they wean. This is important because Mom helps teach her puppies manners. Our puppies are exposed to lots of animals including Cats from an early age and are used to children of all sizes. They know the sounds of a home and won’t be scared by vacuums and dishwashers.

Tiera has over 15 years experience in breeding both exceptional family pets and champion hunting dogs. Her Weimaraner and Viszla puppies were shipped all over the world and her waitlists were on average 2 years long.
Tiera has since retired her hunting dog lines and now focuses on her new passion, the sheepadoodle. Her experience and expertise in raising puppies and matching families to the right puppy will ensure you bring home the quality pup you’ve been searching for.
